Black Forest Still is the premium still water from the Peterstaler spring in the famous Black Forest area. Our task was to re-design the local brand and launch it for the German market. A difficult task with powerful competitors like Volvic, Evian, and Vittel that have been dominating the market for two decades. We created a unique packaging design, and a brand world that focused on the origin of the water within the quasi-mythical Black Forest. "The secret lies in the Silence – Black Forest, the still mineral water out of the Black forest" ("still" means in German "silent").
At the point of sale/point of purchase, the Black Forest Still branding worked very well. Active and passive promotions, placements, and in-shop events pushed the initial sales. The brand experience online made use of a lot of interactive content, films, and games.
