To attract younger people and encourage them to start an apprenticeship in some craft we developed an integrated campaign centered around German comedian Simon Gosejohann to be „The Left Hand of Crafts“. Sent to craft companies he had to work there and test his skills for one day. The webisodes could be seen on the website handwerk.de, and on his own youtube channel, gathering 650,000 views within 3 months – and counting. Live events and online specials created a huge and lasting fan community. Simon also launched the "profession checker", a playful online tool with which you can find the one of 130 professions that fits your preferences the most by adjusting slider buttons.
